Our work & impact.
BridgeDetroit
BridgeDetroit is a nonprofit newsroom laser-focused on lifting up the issues that Detroiters themselves identify as important to their lives.
The Challenge
When BridgeDetroit partnered with us, they had a wealth of vital information, but faced three core obstacles on social media:
Stagnant Social Engagement: Their content wasn’t reaching the audience it deserved.
Lack of Visual Cohesion: Their social media graphics lacked a unified aesthetic, making it hard for their content to stand out in a busy feed.
A Gap in Short-Form Video: The team wasn’t yet leveraging short-form video to connect with modern audiences.
The Strategy
We began with a comprehensive social media audit to analyze the baseline health of BridgeDetroit’s channels. Instead of overwhelming the team with an aggressive overhaul, we designed a thoughtful strategy to increase posting frequency, elevate their visual identity, and gently ease the newsroom into short-form video creation.
We launched intentional content series designed for long-term relevance. The breakout success was “Bridging the Gap,” an educational civic series that broke down complex local election information for Detroit voters.
The Execution
Grandeur Girl Digital stepped in as a deeply collaborative partner, providing full-service social media management every week:
Graphic Design: Created custom feed and Story templates to establish a stately, clean, and cohesive aesthetic.
Content Management: Handled daily caption writing, scheduling, and publishing cadences.
Video Editing: Provided seamless video editing to bring their short-form video concepts to life.
The Impact
Our focus on authentic storytelling and intentional strategy yielded lasting growth—entirely through organic content.
Sustained Audience Growth: Increased Instagram followers from 5,613 to 8,600 after one year of partnership. Today, the community has grown to over 12,300 followers as the BridgeDetroit team continues to utilize the exact templates and posting cadence we developed for them.
Massive Organic Reach: Expanded their 90-day baseline reach of approximately 35,300 to 204,120 unique views in the month of June 2025 alone.
Deepened Community Engagement: More than doubled their audience interaction, jumping from 5,000 content interactions over their initial 90-day baseline to 10,720 in June 2025 alone.
By focusing on community-centric storytelling rather than fleeting trends, we left BridgeDetroit with a permanent digital blueprint that continues to amplify their journalism across the city.

The Challenge
As a family-owned business with a small, busy team, the company faced the following hurdles:
Capacity Constraints: The team lacked the time and bandwidth required to actively manage and grow their Instagram presence.
Untapped Audiences: While they held an incredibly loyal local customer base on Facebook, they needed a way to introduce their brand to a younger, modern demographic.
Uncharted Marketing Channels: The company had never experimented with influencer partnerships and needed an expert to navigate this new terrain effectively.
The Strategy
To introduce the company into the rapidly-growing world of influencer marketing, we designed a highly targeted, localized strategy:
Social Media Audit & Strategy: Evaluated their digital footprint and made strategic recommendations.
